The Joserra Cefiro shaving soap is traditionally handcrafted by Jose Martinez in his laboratory in Spain. It pays homage to the famous AVENTUS fragrance. Jose, who conjures up a new formula for every new soap, attaches great importance to the quality of the raw materials. This soap formula is like a facial skin care product. It contains beef suet, shea butter, cocum butter, jojoba oil, coconut oil, castor oil, argan oil, apricot kernel oil, raspberry seed oil, lanolin, glycerin, green clay, silk protein and spirulina algae. Wow. Who doesn’t have the razor in your pants? Anyone who is familiar with the subject will already be able to imagine how well this soap works. It produces fat foam that is very rich, nourishing and protective, and is extremely easy to build up. The sliding film and the post-shave feeling are outstanding. But now to the fragrance. The Cefiro scent is fresh, strong and very masculine. It opens with fruity notes of black currants, green apple and bergamot and is greeted by a heart of spicy rose, birch and incense. Sandalwood, musk, patchouli and jasmine form the basis. A very, very fresh fragrance that I definitely count among my favorites.
